ART 302 Intermediate Painting

This is an intermediate level painting course, which includes the further development of form and paint manipulation with an emphasis on developing a personal and contemporary aesthetic. Students will be expected to demonstrate technical and formal proficiencies. In addition to specific painting skills students will solve problems that are formally and conceptually more complex than those experienced in previous painting classes. Required reading and writing assignments will support and clarify personal directions and points of view.
